So I've spent in total a few hours playing with this camera even though I bought it a week ago. I have to say the image quality is really impressive, comparing them to the mass of grainy blurrs that get churned out of all my friends Cybershots (don't be mistaken, I'm a Sony fanboy). I read some articles online about making the most of compact digitals, and found out to get that cool blurred background effect, apparently known as 'bokeh' or shooting with 'apperture priority'.
